These Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins are so soft and delicious, with lots of chocolate goodness after each bite. Great to boost your energy during afternoon snack (or breakfast, if you may) and heaven to pair with a glass of milk.

Ingredients:
1 ½cupsflour
1tspbaking powder
1tspbaking soda
¼tspsalt
½tspcinnamon powder
3ripe bananas, mashed
⅔cupbrown sugar
1egg, in room temperature
1tspvanilla
½cupbutter, melted
1cupchocolate chips, and a little extra to add at the top
Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (195 degrees C). Line a muffin pan with cupcake or muffin liner cups.

Combine dry ingredients – flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, mix together mashed bananas, sugar, egg, vanilla, and butter. Add the flour mixture and stir just until combined (do not overmix).

Add the chocolate chips, lightly stir.

Divide the batter evenly from 12 to 15 cups. Fill the muffin cups up to 3/4 full. Do not overfill. You can some extra chocolate chips at the top.

Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
