We Filipinos love rice. We eat it every meal, 3 times a day, every day. Even our snacks have some rice in it too!

Garlic Fried Rice (Tagalog word: Sinangang) is one of the side dishes we Filipinos love! We usually serve this during breakfast with an egg and more protein.. like longanisa, tapa, fried fish, & etc. Now, I am hungry!

It is best to use old rice that has been in the refrigerator for a day or 2. It will give that nice texture compared to the rice that has just been cooked.

And the more garlic you use, the better!!

An advantage of this dish is that it is very easy to make and it doesn’t take much time either.

If you love garlic, you should give this a try! even though you had it already.. and obviously loved it, it won’t harm if you make it again and again and again.. right?!

Here’s how to make Garlic Fried Rice.
