If you are a garlic lover, you should definitely try this recipe. It’s a simple sear fry, letting the garlic and chicken marry its flavors into one great yummy dish.

My husband loves garlic, the reason why this is a perfect lunch or dinner meal for him and for me too.

On this recipe, I used skinless and boneless chicken thighs. We try to cut down our fat consumption. But this recipe will be best with skin-on. It will leave a thin crispy skin which is good to eat by itself.

If you are a garlic lover, you should definitely try this recipe. It's a simple sear fry recipe, letting the garlic and chicken marry its flavors into one great yummy dish.

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 4 pieces chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and ground pepper, to taste
Directions
  • Step 1 In a large pan, heat the oil in medium heat.
  • Step 2 When the oil is warm enough add the garlic. Saute the garlic for 1-2 minutes until lightly brown. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  • Step 3 While the garlic is cooking, rinse the chicken with water and pat dry with a paper towel. Season with salt and pepper on both sides. Add the Italian seasoning and garlic powder to add more flavor.
  • Step 4 Add the chicken facing skin down. Drizzle the chicken with lemon juice. Let it cook untouched for a few minutes until the bottom gets golden brown and the skin gets brown and crispy.
  • Step 5 Flip the chicken and cook for 3 or more minutes until it is tender.
  • Step 6 Do not overcook as the meat will get tough to eat.
  • Step 7 Serve with warm steamed rice and steamed broccoli on the side.
