Simple Cold & Flu Remedy: Lemon Honey Ginger Tea
This homemade tea made of lemon, honey and ginger has this very nice, warm, calming and soothing effect. The steam helps clear those stuffed sinuses, and the ginger and honey helps soothe sore throat. Simply double or triple the recipe as you need.
Ingredients
- 1 lemons, thinly sliced
- inch ginger, peeled and smashed or thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup honey
Directions
- Step 1 Mix all the ingredients and transfer in a glass container or jar.
- Step 2 You can store the container in the refrigerator for 1 month.
- Step 3 To serve, in a cup of warm water, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of the tea mixture.
- Step 4 Stir well. Serve warm.
